HCC NewBreed ("we," "our," "the church") operates hccnewbreed.org and related pages on Facebook and Instagram. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what control you have over it.

What we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us:

• Your name

• Your email address

• Your phone number

We collect this when you fill out a form on our website, respond to one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram, or give us your details in person or at an event. We do not collect this information unless you agree to give it.

Why we use it

We use your information for three purposes:

1. To welcome you and help you plan a visit.

2. To stay in touch about services, events, and ways to get connected to our community.

3. To prepare a year-end giving statement for tax purposes, where that applies to you.

We do not use your information for anything else.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, ever.

Who else may handle it

We use outside services to run our website and communications, and your information may pass through them in the course of normal operation. These include our website and church management platform (Nucleus) and the advertising platforms where you may have reached us (Meta, which operates Facebook and Instagram). These providers handle your data under their own terms and may not use it for their own purposes beyond what those terms permit.

If you submitted your details through a form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta's own Data Policy also applies to that submission.

We may disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your contact information for as long as you remain connected to the church, or until you ask us to remove it. Giving records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Your choices

You can, at any time:

• Ask us to stop contacting you.

• Ask us what information we hold about you.

• Ask us to correct it.

• Ask us to delete it.

Children

Our website and forms are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Information about children involved in our ministries is given to us by a parent or guardian in person and is used only to care for them while they are with us.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the most recent version.
